Meet the Gang!

It is almost the end of the semester and I realize that I have yet to introduce the people in the Huma hall that are in my RM group. Well, I have decided to start with the people furthest from me. Just to avoid any future confusion, everyone in my hall for some reason lives on the right hand side. On the left side of the hall there is the lounge, the laundry, and then the rooms of other people that are not in my RM group. Furthest from me is the room of Mike and Jonathan. Mike is a really nice guy that once helped my suitemates and me go out and take pictures on campus because we needed a photographer. Jonathan is equally as nice and also happens to own right about every house hold item you are allowed to have on campus. Mike’s and Jonathan’s suitemates are Kevin and Richard. Kevin is a baseball player, is extremely funny and sweet, and has traveled to several parts of the world and done things that I can only dream of doing one day in my future. Richard is the more silent, shy type even though I am told he is quite the joker when out socializing. He is also very nice but speaks very little. Next are Shane and Phou. Shane is rarely, if ever, around. You can find him at late hour of the night heading to go get something to eat. From the few times I have talked to him I can say that he is a very sweet guy and one of the nicest in the hall. Phou is somewhat quiet because he claims to not understand what we are saying half of the time. There is this theory in the hall among our group that in reality he does understand everything and that one day he will reveal this secret and laugh at all the outrageous things we say and do. Shane’s and Phou’s suitemates are Ryan and Andrew. These two are so alike that you can describe both of them at the same time. They love to mess around and are constantly playing jokes on people. The one thing that distinguishes Andrew from Ryan is that Andrew seems to be a loud person because his voice carries well in any environment such that it is almost impossible to confuse him from several feet away. Next are Trevor and David. Both of them seem to be very quiet. Trevor exudes an air of maturity such that you are drawn to seek him for advice. David seems to be sugar all around and out of the two of them he is the quietest and shyest. David’s and Trevor’s suitemate is our RM Joe, which if you have been reading my blogs you should know all about him. Next are Jenna and Nancy. Both of them are super sweet. Nancy is quieter than Jena. Jena has a very eccentric sense of humor. Laughter always flows from their room such that you can’t help but want to join in on the fun. Their suitemates are Katarina and me. Katarina is the quiet, serious, very down to earth type of person. It takes a lot to make her laugh because even though she understands the jokes she doesn’t seem to find them as humorous. This is probably due to her deep intellectual mind that seeks more than simple superficial jokes for amusement. I, on the other hand, am said to be sparking energy and laughter all around even at weird hours of the morning when everyone else is drooping with sleep. Next are Abigail and Margorie. I don’t know much about Abigail other than she seems to shift from silence to laughter quite readily and that she seems to like danceable music rather than just that which you listen to. Margorie is very sweet and nice and seems to be somewhat shy although she waves and smiles hello every time she sees someone she knows. Their suitemates are Paige and Sarah. Paige is a very nice young woman that always appears to be very sophisticated even if she happens to be in sweats and a t-shirt. Sarah doesn’t seem to talk much but she always seems to have a smile on her face and on occasion waves hello in a somewhat shy yet friendly manner. Now you know a little bit about my hall mates in my RM group. I apologize for the delay in introducing them but it truly hadn’t occurred to be that in order for you to understand some things that I said some description of them would be needed.
